so lets start saving every day a bit
Monday
If you drive to work by car compare the petrol prices in your area, you can easily safe £5 or £6 on a 60 litre fill up. If you live in the uk this site will do the job for you http://www.petrolprices.com/ but of course also in other countries such a toll will be available. Google will help you
Tuesday
Why not make tuesday our cleaning day, well we all know how expensive all the little helpers are so why don't you try out some stuff which you usually will always have at home and what is much cheaper, lemon juice, baking soda and white vinegar are just some of the things, for more information just look here http://www.lovemoney.com/blogs/money-saving-tips-bargains-and-freebies/money-saving-tips/6727/clever-cleaning-tips of course all these products are also 100% green which is another reason to use them
You can also turn on your washing machine over night with a timer and use the overnight cheaper electricity tariffs
don't forget to sit down and do your budgeting once a week, more about that in another entry
Wednesday
Do you like sport? Are you going to the gym? If yes then go on reading. Think about if you really need to go to the gym as the monthly costs are really high. Why just don't go walking or jogging in the nearby park. For people who just want to stay fit that should do the job as well plus don't forget the fresh air which you surely don't have in a gym.
If you are not the outdoor typ check at your councils website if they offer any alternatives to gyms which are might be cheaper.
Thursday
Do you enjoy going out with your friends? Why just don't have a night in with them?
Buy some snacks and drinks in your local supermarket which is much cheaper then going out and believe me, you won't have less fun by staying in with them. If you are worried about the cleaning up, just before your friends go home let them all help with washing up and cleaning and it will be all done in no time!
If you enjoy going to the cinema try to get some free cinema tickets. Just use google to find some sites where you can get them for free or for a reduced price
Friday
Plan ahead for your shopping trip on the weekend, try to find out which supermarket near you got the best deals available, are their any events where you can save or buy some stuff in bulk?
Saturday
Most of you will do the weekly groceries on Saturday, check out http://www.mysupermarket.co.uk and compare the prices. You can also shop online which will save you the time and stress of a Saturday shopping with long queues at the check out. If you don't live in the uk, usually in every country a supermarket price comparison site is available.
You can also check some discounter supermarkets like Aldi, Lidl or whatever is available in your country, of course they don't look as nice as the "normal" supermarkets but the price make up for that one and the quality can easily compare with the big supermarket chains.
Sunday
Is Sunday your family day? then why not let all of your family members bring something over like some drinks, a salad, cakes, cookies or whatever you enjoy in your family on sundays.
When everyone contributes something the costs will spread evenly and so does the work so you can enjoy more.
So now we have one tip for each day of the weak, I hope there was something for you as well

The cost of children
Do you have children?
Well I have two of them, still small but of course they really cost a lot of money, when they are small the monthly expenditures are quite low but as they turn older it really goes up.
A study showed yesterday that the average costs to raise one child is £210.000! I was really shocked to read that figure but of course after considering that really all is included it is not that surprising. So I guess all you parents out there are willing to save somewhere else as of course no one likes to save on cost of their childrens happiness!
